A Vision Developed 

After more than ten years of prayerful consideration, Christ Greenfield School has expanded to high school education! 

God is certainly good, all the time. School leadership partnered with Soaring Education Services, a division of Open Sky Education, in order to better develop a model that would be able to launch in the fall of 2023. Over the course of a year, school leadership would meet with the development partners to design a build what would become Christ Greenfield High School. 

A Small, Steady Start

In early August 2023, a handful of high school students ranging from freshmen to juniors met in the Journey Center, identified as the CGHS Learning Studio. The desire for each of them, and their families, was hybrid education. Over the course of the school year, our students have participated in Theology and Leadership Development courses during their in-person time on campus. Beyond in-person learning, our students have been excelling in their online courses through Orange Lutheran High School and Mayer Lutheran High School.

As we move forward into the second semester of high school courses, we have so much to be thankful for. The high school has received accreditation from WASC and NLSA. Christ Greenfield High School has continued to explore and develop partnerships, most recently joining the Association of Lutheran Secondary Schools. Looking ahead, we have exciting opportunities in our future to reach even more high school students and provide structured flexibility so that students may better discover their talents, develop their skills, and deploy their gifts into distinct callings.
