A lifelong musician, Lyndsay began "making a joyful noise to the Lord" at the age of three when she took her first piano lesson, and she hasn't stopped since! She is a graduate of Concordia University at Irvine with degrees in both Musicand Secondary Education, as well as Master's work in music education.  The first nine years of her teaching ministry were spent as Director of Choral Activities at Orange Lutheran High School (CA) where she oversaw a comprehensive vocal music program and more than 250 singers. An advocate of the importance of training musicians for the church, she recently finished production on "Children Making Music," a DVD project sponsored by the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and funded by The Schwan Foundation that made its' debut at music conferences in both the US and Canada. Currently, she is a member of the Grammy-winning Phoenix Chorale. Lyndsay is married to Ryan, and the two are parents of two daughters, who attend Christ's Greenfield Lutheran School. The Ermelings are honored to call Christ's Greenfield their "home away from home!"
